Daddy Daughter Hair Care Night - By IWCS Cosmetology

The night will be used to teach fathers, or other positive male influences, how to perform simple hairstyles for their daughters, such as combing techniques, parting the hair, ponytails, and a three strand braid. Although we are focusing on the techniques, it is more about the bonding experience than anything. 

We plan to do fundraising (Teacher Pamper Day, Tuesday April 24th @SHS and Thursday, April 26th @WHS) to raise money to create small gift bags for each young girl to take home; these would include hair ties, hair bows, a comb, etc... Our target audience would be elementary students and their fathers/positive male role models. 

We are hosting the event on two separate nights. The first session will be heldon Tuesday, May 15th, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Westside Elementary School; the second session will be onThursday, May 17th, from 6 to 7 pm. at Windsor Elementary School. This way, anyone that wants to participate in the district, doesn't have to travel very far. 

Although we are hosting at only two schools we want to be sure to make it clear that the invitation is extended to not only Westside Elementary and Windsor Elementary, but Carrollton Elementary, Hardy Elementary, and Carrsville Elementary as well. 


 I will be emailing out a sign up sheet and flyers to be passed out at each school.
