Supervisors all aspects of the student health program.

Supports the Directors of Elementary and Secondary Education

Oversees the registration process for all new students; Works with school staff to ensure accuracy of data in PowerSchool; Coordinates homeschool approvals and annual updates

Handles questions, approvals, and tracking related to FMLA; Oversees new applications and renewals for VA Teaching Licensure

Manages FOIA and media requests; Maintains the division’s website, social media accounts, and Connect 5 messaging system

Oversees all aspects of school safety and security

Provides leadership support and direction for all middle & high schools; Coordinates professional development for the secondary level; Serves as the Hearing Officer for elementary disciplinary hearings; Oversees secondary OSS appeals; Serves as the point of contact for athletics; Oversees all aspects of the Career and Technical Education (CTE) program and AP/Dual Enrollment courses; Handles early graduation requests

Processes payroll, including benefits, and payroll tax reports; Coordinates open enrollment for health, dental, vision and other voluntary benefits

Processes accounts payable and fixed assets

Coordinates Federal Grants (Titles I, II, III, IV); Manages English Language Learner (ELL) program and Translation Services; Serves as the point of contact for Foreign Language

Serves as the division liaison for facility maintenance, custodial, and grounds program; Oversees the student health program and child nutrition program

Facilitates contract processes and supplements; Addresses application questions.

Manages all support service and operational needs of the division; Coordinates the development and management of the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP); Oversees facility maintenance including new construction

Oversees all aspects of division technology

Coordinates literacy at the PreK and elementary level; Coordinates Virginia Preschool Initiative program; Oversees reading coaches and elementary school media specialists; Coordinates K-5 literacy curriculum and professional development; Supports the Summer School program Coordinat

Manages all aspects of child nutrition services for IWCS.

Serves as the chief executive officer of the School Board and the educational leader of the school division; enforces school laws and regulations, oversees staff personnel management, facility management, and financial management; oversees pupil personnel services and directs community relations activities.

Provides Eligibility, IEP, and 504 compliance support for elementary schools (CES, WES, WSES); Supports self-contained services; Assists with behavior programming

Assists with updating employee name and address changes; Oversees SafeSchools course assignments and password issues; Answers questions and serves as point of contact for worker's compensation claims ; Addresses employee ID Badge needs; Answers questions and provides passwords for ESS/ Source4Teachers

Manages and supervises all aspects of the Finance Department; Develops and monitors budgets; Coordinates yearly audits; Approves requisitions and assists with procurement.

Captures photos and video of various IWCS events; Produces videos and documents to convey the vision and mission of IWCS; Assists schools with documenting and curating student learning

Responsible for all aspects of transportation for the division

Manages issues related to student attendance and truancy; Coordinates adult education and alternative education for the division; Facilitates secondary summer school; Oversees the GED/ISAEP programs

Coordinates math and science curriculum and professional development at the secondary level; Coordinates STEM integration and the CTE program; Coordinates digital learning; Supports the Summer School program

Supervises the instructional department, programs and budget; Assists the superintendent in the task of providing leadership in support of the division’s goals and objectives.

Coordinates all aspects of state assessments; Manages state and federal reporting requirements; Oversees the school counseling program and program of studies; Serves as the PowerSchool manager for student data; Serves as the designated Records Officer for the division; Works with families and local agencies as the liaison for foster care

Oversees Special Education and Section 504 compliance; Submits, implements, and monitors federal grants for SPED; Ensures compliance with VDOE and OCR regulations; Coordinates completion of state reports; Supervises the Extended School Year program; Oversees management of the Parent Resource Center; Organizes Early Childhood Education program for students with disabilities

Provides Eligibility, IEP, and 504 compliance support for CAES, SMS, and SHS; Oversees early childhood special education services; Coordinates PowerSchool special programs

Coordinates the Medicaid in Schools program; Completes federal and state reports on behalf of the division

Assists the Deputy Superintendent of Operations; Enters facility work orders for maintenance /grounds/ custodial services; Calculates and processes Facility Usage Request Forms for the division

Coordinates math and science curriculum and professional development at the elementary level; Coordinates STEM integration and coding; Coordinates gifted services at the elementary level; Supports the Summer School program

Provide leadership support and direction for all elementary schools; Coordinates professional development for the elementary level; Serves as the Hearing Officer for secondary disciplinary hearings; Oversees elementary OSS appeals; Point of contact for the YMCA and before/after school care programs

Serves as the point of contact for the School Board; Supports the Deputy Superintendent of Instruction; Receives and processes the following forms: Zone Transfer, Non-Resident Forms, Fundraising Approval Request

Provides Eligibility, IEP, and 504 compliance support for HES, GTMS, WHS; Coordinates Post-Secondary Transition Services; Acts as Liaison for Out-of-Division Placements; Coordinates Homebound Services
