SMITHFIELD HIGH AND SMITHFIELD MIDDLE CLOSING AT 9:30 AM DUE TO NO WATER.

Due to a situation with the water backflow system on school grounds, water will need to be turned off in order to make repairs. As a result, Smithfield High and Smithfield Middle School will be closing today around 9:30 for all students and staff. All after school activities for both schools are cancelled. In addition, students will not be going to the Governor's School today. The Athletic Physicals for this afternoon at Smithfield High have been cancelled. Parents and students will be notified once a new date has been scheduled.
