Each quarter we recognize one of our support staff members who has gone Above and Beyond the Call of Duty. Anyone throughout the division is invited to submit nominations. A panel reviews the nominees and selects the quarterly winners. Our 2018-2019 3rd quarter winner is Judith McNure, Instructional Assistant, Smithfield High School. We received the following nomination for Ms. McNure from Mrs. Patricia Cuffee-Neville, Assistant Principal at Smithfield High:
Mrs. McNure is a GREAT member of Smithfield High School. She is very conscientious about taking pride in being the best instructional assistant that she can in order to best support students and teachers in the building. She is TRUSTWORTHY to be on time for traffic duty every morning greeting the community, as well as, being reliable to step up and go above and beyond her assigned duties. Her actions demonstrate EMPATHY and RESPECT to all staff, parents and students that she comes into contact with. Mrs. McNure has shown GROWTH in her ability to be flexible and assertive. She models ACCOUNTABILITY on a daily basis by striving to always do what's best for the staff, students, and community of Smithfield High School. She always has a smile to greet you and a positive word to share. Mrs. McNure displays and models Packer Pride every day.
As part of her award, Judith will receive a $50 Visa gift card thanks to the generous support of The Woman’s Club of Smithfield. She is also receiving a personalized plaque created in the Smithfield High School MakerSpace.
