The School Board of Isle of Wight County will hold a Special Called Meeting on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 9:00am in the cafeteria at Westside Elementary School, Door #5, 800 West Main St., Smithfield, VA 23430. The purpose of the meeting is to review subcommittee reports on the reopening of schools. The board will go into closed session at 9:00am and begin their open session at 10:00am.
A second Special Called Meeting will be held Thursday, July 30, also at Westside Elementary at 9am. The purpose of the meeting will be to finalize the instructional plan for the fall.
The meetings are open to the public and face coverings are required for attendees. Both meetings will be streamed live on the IWCS Facebook page and YouTube Channel.
