Stacey Rodgers will be the new Instructional Coordinator of Elementary Math and Science. Rodgers has served as the SEARCH teacher and a classroom teacher at Windsor Elementary School for the last two years. Previously, Rodgers was an elementary school teacher for Southampton County Public Schools for 15 years. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and her Masters of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University.
Kyle Blackwell has assumed the role of Coordinator of Transportation. Prior to this promotion, Blackwell served as a Transportation Routing Technician for Isle of Wight County Schools. Blackwell began his career in education as a Dean of Students and Bus Supervisor in North Carolina before moving on to teach mathematics at the high school level. Blackwell earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Livingstone College.
Stacey Caterbone is the new Assistant Principal at Carrsville Elementary School. Caterbone has served the Carrsville community as their Instructional Coach and Special Education (SPED) Process Facilitator since August 2020. Previously, Caterbone was a SPED process facilitator and teacher in both Isle of Wight County Schools and Northampton County Public Schools. Caterbone earned her Bachelor’s degree from East Stroudsburg University and her Masters of Education in Supervision and Leadership from Old Dominion University.
Aston Williams will serve as an Assistant Principal at Smithfield High School. Most recently, Williams served as an Assistant Principal at Lakeland High School. Previously, he was a Dean of Students and Special Education teacher with Suffolk City Public Schools. Williams is a graduate of Liberty University with a Bachelors in Special Education and a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership.
