Lori White has been appointed Director of Secondary Education for Isle of Wight County Schools, effective March 17. She holds a Master’s degree in Special Education from Regent University and is a two-time graduate of the University of Virginia, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and an Ed.S. in Educational Administration.
She has served in her hometown with Suffolk Public Schools as a special education teacher, compliance specialist, and data specialist, as well as an assistant principal and principal at both the elementary and secondary levels. She is currently the principal of Lakeland High School.
Lori resides in Suffolk with her husband and twin daughters, who will attend Longwood University in the fall. She looks forward to bringing her 22 years of experience in education to support secondary leadership and students in Isle of Wight County Schools.
