All IWCS Schools and Offices will be open 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Thursday. IWCS will return to regular hours on August 21, 2023.

Isle of Wight County Schools will recognize the state holiday on Monday, June 19, 2023.

The Isle of Wight Health Department, in partnership with IWCS, will host a back-to-school vaccination clinic for grades K-12 on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at the Isle of Wight Health Department. See the flyer for more information.

To address the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on students' educational progress and well-being, Governor Glenn Youngkin announced in March 2023 the availability of $30 million in Learning Acceleration Grants to be used for qualifying education services.

The training enhanced their knowledge of governance, school finance, teaching and learning, budget management, and communication.
